The MicroCare HDS Heavy Duty Degreasing Solvent is a popular, versatile, medium-strength vapor degreasing fluid best used to remove organics. It has a broad range of cleaning capabilities, including cutting oils, stamping oils, waxes, heavy greases, gear and lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, vacuum oils and mineral oils. It is particularly effective in many precision degreasing applications so it often is used for cleaning bearings, machined parts, stampings and precision assemblies. Overall, this versatile formulation is a less aggressive solvent than some older fluids, a feature which may offer advantages when working with fragile new materials, coatings and elastomers.
